Freshness & monitoring

Understand source schedules, opt-in alerts and the difference between discovery and delivery.

Source freshness and alert timing

Coverage and timing are source-specific. Open live coverage & freshness for source availability, access boundaries and measured SEC latency. The coverage data (JSON) retains the separate financing-backfill receipt.

Detailed retrieval and monitor schedules
Source groupInteractive retrievalDiscovery or saved-monitor timing
SEC EDGARWorker restarts one minute after its prior bounded run endsOperating target: discovery within five minutes of SEC acceptance; extraction and alerts follow asynchronously
New York FedStored rate history; source updates checked twice each weekdaySaved checks for SOFR, EFFR, TGCR and BGCR are eligible hourly; averages and Index have no saved alerts
U.S. TreasuryStored yield, bill-rate and auction history; scheduled updates after each weekdayScheduled source updates; no saved customer monitor
Federal Reserve Board / SLOOSStored survey history; daily source checks for quarterly releasesScheduled source updates; no saved customer monitor
OFRProvider fetch on cache miss; fifteen-minute cacheNo deployed saved monitor; request-time retrieval only
FDIC base bank selections, GLEIF core records, and Treasury Fiscal component datasetsProvider fetch on cache miss; five-minute cacheNext saved check is eligible four hours to one day after a successful check, depending on the exact dataset
FDIC and GLEIF expansion datasets; Treasury Fiscal combined reportProvider fetch on cache miss; five-minute cacheNo deployed saved monitor for these exact datasets; request-time retrieval only
BISProvider fetch on cache miss; six-hour cacheNo deployed saved monitor; source data publishes monthly or quarterly

Provider publication, FilingSift retrieval, processing, saved-check eligibility, and email delivery are separate clocks. The fastest email option makes a processed alert due for the next ingestion monitoring stage; quiet hours, worker capacity, and provider retries can defer delivery. The reference worker evaluates at most five due watches every five minutes, so a saved-check interval is not guaranteed completion. A one-day retry backoff applies only to blocked checks. Operating targets are not current-state claims. The live SEC coverage and latency endpoint publishes a rolling 30-day production report with sample counts and p50/p95 for acceptance to discovery, discovery to extraction, extraction to provider-accepted instant email, acceptance to extraction, and acceptance to alert delivery. Missing populations remain unavailable. Email-provider acceptance is not inbox receipt, and FilingSift does not claim WebSocket-equivalent delivery.
