# FilingSift

FilingSift is a source-cited filing intelligence API focused on debt, liquidity,
credit agreements, covenants, waivers, and going-concern disclosures.

## Current public coverage

- The live explorer reads its current filing count, issuers, and forms from the public filing API.
- The initial supported watchlist contains Apple Inc. Automatic ingestion covers bounded 10-Q, 10-Q/A, 10-K, 10-K/A, 8-K, and 8-K/A filings and selected material contract exhibits.
- Current machine-readable coverage is available from `/api/v1/filings`; broad-market coverage is not claimed.
- Every returned comparison includes both accessions, SEC source URLs, exact
  evidence, hashes, and a machine-check verification state.
- Units, scales, currencies, and periods are returned only when deterministic
  source context resolves them; uncertainty and refusals are explicit.
- Severity is not scored, and no materiality, financial, legal, or
  human-verification conclusion is claimed.
- The homepage hero is a fictional format preview. If the API is unavailable,
  the explorer uses a separately labeled fictional fallback.

## Product boundary

- Source records originate in SEC filings and exhibits.
- Every production fact must include accession, source URL, evidence, and
  verification state.
- Missing or uncertain facts are unavailable; they are never silently converted
  to zero.
- REST, email/password self-service signup, expiring multi-browser sessions,
  usage reporting, and scoped hashed API-key management are live.
- Email verification, verification resend, and password reset use single-use
  hashed action tokens with transactional delivery through AWS SES.
- Authenticated Stripe-hosted Checkout is active for Builder, Professional,
  and Team. The Stripe Customer Portal and signed billing webhook are active.
  Stripe Tax is off, and no controlled live charge has been completed.
- Product event webhooks, filing-alert email, MCP, team workspaces, broad
  issuer coverage, and qualified accuracy claims remain gated or unavailable.
