Integrate FilingSift with Python

Python’s standard library can call the FilingSift API without another dependency. URL-encode filters, set a timeout, handle structured HTTP errors, and retain source and verification fields.

Production handling

Catch HTTPError, parse its structured body, record the request ID, and retry only when the response marks the reason retryable. Treat opaque cursors as untrusted server tokens. Keep private API keys in process secrets, never notebooks or committed configuration.
