Build a filing-comparison workflow

Request comparison records by ticker and optional category, follow opaque cursors, and preserve both the previous and current source objects. A usable downstream record includes both accessions, exact evidence, hashes, resolved currency and scale, verification, uncertainty, and any refusal.

GET /api/v1/filing-comparisons?ticker=AAPL&category=debt&limit=20

Follow meta.pagination.nextCursor only while hasMore is true. Restart pagination if the API returns invalid_cursor because the underlying collection changed.

Safe downstream behavior

Display machine-checked and candidate states visibly.
Keep source URLs and exact evidence next to the value.
Do not map unavailable values to zero.
Do not infer severity or compliance when it is null.
Use the cited filing for any material conclusion.
